Small summary page to share with friends & family#108

Would be nice to have a small summary page with recipes, planning and the brews in its various stages to share with friend & family.

Something with a fixed link & some embedding possibilities

Kind regards
Arjen

@Arjen de Vries
This is a nice idea!

If the app has a screen where you can see this information at a glance and then you can take a screenshot of it and share it with your friends & family

would something like that solve your problem? :)

Hi Shiva,

Would be nice to try. Think that it is to large vor just one screenshot.
Would be good to share via a link on whatsapp etc.
Kind regards

Arjen,
Most phones today, support taking scrolling screenshots, eliminating the need to take multiple screenshots to share a long page.
If you want to share it via a link, then we’ll have to look at ways to share the information with a unique unpredictable URL, so that only people with link can view it. We are always concerned about the safety of your data.

Nonetheless, a page where you can glance at your data is on our roadmap and I’ll report here when it is ready :)

That is super Shiva. I realy think that we can stimulate our fine hobby by sharing. For example: we have a small neighbours club of around 5-6 participants and we enjoy every now and then my home-brews along with some camado-food. I always keep them informed about the latest brews and the status of it. My neighbours always are very interested and so came the idea of sharing the status of plans, active brews etc.
So it seems to mee a wonderfull way of promoting the hobby and the fine grainfather-system ofcourse!

Indeed.
If you’re looking for sharing a single session or a single recipe, we already support that in the app :D

To share a session

  • Just open the session detail page for that session,
  • Tap the three veritical dots at the top right of the page
  • Tap Share Session

To share a recipe

  • Just open the Edit Recipe page for that recipe,
  • Tap the three veritical dots at the top right of the page
  • Tap Share Recipe
