I would suggest that the picture not take over the color of the beer icon on the recipe page. I would still like to see the approximate color in it. I would also like to be able to print the name, description, picture with the ABV and possibly the ingredients from the recipe. Maybe a pdf export or something for a label. This would be great for labeling bottles, cans, kegs, etc.

Thanks for this suggestion, let’s talk a bit more about the idea.
Do you think it is not necessary to see the images on the recipe page, or would you like to see both image and the color?
We already allow exporting of the recipe as pdf or as beer xml from the app. Goto a recipe page, tap on the three dots at the top right, and tap view recipe PDF.

Yes I would like to see both the color and the picture in the recipe list. The software shows this now if you go to the actual recipe, but I like to let people pick from the recipes I have and it would be great if they could see the possible color. The PDF I mentioned is a general idea about a label. Something that migh mock up a quick label for a bottle or keg using standard labels one can buy from the web or local office supply. Perphaps using the picture and decription, ABV, etc It may be a bit complicat.ed though, Im not a software engineer. Also I notice that if I print the pdf the software doesnt include the yeast manufacurer or number.

Thanks, now I have enough information to take this forward. I’m get back to you if any other question arises

must be a really long roadmap or your need to speed things up a bit.. this has been on the roadmap for over a year……

@Jerry Hittle starting from version 4.8.2, you can see the beer color on the card even if there is a recipe image on it :)
