Enter gravity readings in Brix#167

I was wondering if it couldn’t be possible to enter gravity reading in Brix, in the Brew Session’s Boil / Mash, Fermentation and Fermentation tracking.
I only have a refractometer and so when I want to enter my FG I have to use the refractomer calcular, for which I need the OG as well. The OG was logged in the SG scale (after using the refractometer calculator), so now I have to use trial and error in the Refractometer Calculater again to get the Brix OG that corresponds to the SG OG, then enter my FG’s Brix so I can see the ABV and FG in SG scale and at long last plug that into the Brew Session’s Fermentation and/or Fermentation Tracking log. Would be great if I could just log it in Brix and see the ABV reflect immediatly.

In the Preferences section you can change your gravity unit to Brix and then all SG values will be displayed in Brix, and you can enter your values in Brix. Please let me know if this solves your problem.

If however you wish to view all your values in SG, but just capture them in Brix then we’ll need to look at an alternative solution.

Then just a note, there is the Gravity Converter calculator which you can use. You just need to plug in the Brix value to get the SG, no need for the OG, FG values.
