Correction on quantites set#247

P

I tried to set 0.06 kg as a a quantity of a fermentable but didn’t manage to get this quantity accepted. Each time I entered 0.0 the field was reset to 0, si no way to set 0.06.
I found a workaround which is to type 0.06 anywhere else (in the url field of my browser for instance) and then to copy-paste the value directly where a wnated it to be.

Happened in the web version, didn’t try in the app.

Little correction on this would be nice !

Thanks.

Hi Pierre,

I wasn’t able to replicate this scenario. of typing 0.06 and it reverting to 0. However, if I enter .0 the input does reverts to 0 before I can type the 6.

Calculations are constantly being run on the recipe editor page to react to user inputs and changes. And an input of .0 returns 0 and hence why it keeps reverting to this.

We’ve added this to our roadmap to address this. For now the solution is to enter the value with the preceding zero before the decimal point. So 0.06 instead of .06

If you still expereincing problems please send us a screen recording via our support channel and we’ll then investigate further.

Many thanks,

Hi,

I’ve made a new test trying to set 0.06 and .06 as well. Both come back to 0 when the 0 after the dot is entered son there is no way to follow with 6. I’ve made a screen recording of the issue.

Thanks for the recording Pierre.

We still unable to replicate this scenario. Can you tell us what your regional settings are. We noticed you have a comma for a decimal separator. Also, do you have the same issue in another browser?

We’ll continue to investigate in the interim.
