The fermentation tracker is nice but the problem is that the timeline starts at the point where the boil is finished. However that is usually not the point where fermentation starts so if you have a fermentation profile with several steps it will be off immediately.
First you might want to cool your wort before pitching the yeast which can take several hours if not half a day at least. Second, some yeasts take 2-3 days to start fermentation. So if I have a fermentation profile where I’m supposed to ramp up the temperature on day 4 the tracker will show it’s time to ramp temp when the yeast has barely started if I first cool the wort and then pitch yeast that takes 2 days to start (M76 Bavarian Lager in my latest case).
Therefore I would like to have an offset setting or some way to say “start the graph at this time”
I have experienced the same problem.
Another suggestion from my side would be that the fermentation steps start (in managed mode) when the session status is changed from Brewing to Fermenting
