I have a feature suggestion for the brewing app:
Following case:
I´ve faced several brews where I didn´t hit my target gravity. But the point when I realized this, was AFTER boiling. So I could boil off more water, but that impacts the used hops and IBUs.
-> A better solution would have been to reduce the amount of sparge water.
But in order to reduce the sparge water within a brew day, I need to know the “expected” pre-boil gravity.
If I´m not fully mistaken, GF calculates the Target OG with the PPMs of the malt and the final volument of water after boiling. With a rule of proportion calculation, it should be possible to calculate the gravity of the wort BEFORE adding sparge water. When that value is known, a gravity measurement with a refractometer before adding sparge meter would allow me to adjust the amount of sparge water.
I think this website describes the idea even better:

Did you get my idea? What do you think about that?
