Allow 'Volume Per Bottle' to be user configurable#284

I bottle in 750ml / 25oz bottles. But since all my units are in ‘imperial’, the app only gives me 3 options for bottle sizes: 4.5oz, 12oz, 22oz. Can this just be a user-entered field rather than presets? What if I wanted to use 16oz bottles? Or magnums?

Hi Eric,
We have provided the standard bottling sizes in the options menu based on the input from a few brewers that we surveyed. The idea was to keep the user’s work to a minimum and have them select from a list instead of having to type manually.

750ml is actually one of the Bottle volume options we provide to the Metric users.
If you change your User preference units to metric (settings -> preferences -> Unit type -> Metric) you will be able to choose 750ml bottle size. Please use this workaround to calculate the sugar amount this time around.

We will include 16oz and 25oz bottling options in the next app update.

Everything I do is in imperial, just not my bottles: #shrug
I don’t want to have to change all my prefs just to calc bottle volumes, I’m sure you can appreciate that.

Thanks for the info, but having an aditional field so the user can simply imput what they want would still be a nice. I understaning threading the needle between providing the users a guided path vs too many options.
But adding 25oz bottles will scratch my itch, so thanks!

@Eric Pavey , you should now be able to select 25oz bottles both on our web app and on the latest mobile app. We don’t plan on adding custom bottle size at this point.

Is it also possible to add 300 ml as a bottling option? I know from a lot of brewers that they are using these bottles.

@Linda Janssen , Ok we will include it in the next app release.
