I use a local smart home setup (home assistant) and I already control my fermenter room and so on using smart home devices with local APIs.
I would love if there was a way to integrate GF30 into my existing setup (control the device and read values). This would also be very nice in order to get the fermenting statistics into brewfather app easily.
I would really like a REST API to control the G30. This would be a great selling point for the Wifi adapter

You can try my integration to HA via HACS installation. https://github.com/fidley/grainfather_integration.

Well. My request was local API.

That would be better of course, and faster.
This is going to be very useful, thank you!

I have figured out how to use GFs mqtt since I wrote this post.

Any chance for sharring it with the rest of community?

I would send an email to grainfather support and ask for the solution. I have promised them not to disclose because the solution is not by design, but it works perfectly fine.
