Customer Inventory in the Community tool#250

When I create recipes, I have no idea what grain quantities, Hops, yeast etc I have in stock. I always have to go to the freezer, pull out my hops and see what I have on hand. Same looking for grains etc. It would be very handy if I had a section when I login that would allow me to add and subsequently see what I have in inventory. Yes, I can do this in excel, but your tool has so many cool features, why not add this into the tool.

Hi Ian,

I would also love to see an inventory feature in the software. It would make brewing much more easy. Other tools like brewfather already have that included.

So please GF Software Team. Make our wish come true!

Hi GF Software Team,

When are you planning to start implementing the inventory?

Many people* wait for this functionality and due to its lack, they also/mainly use other programs. For example, due to the lack of inventory, I mainly use Brewfather, and the GF Community only serves to import a recipe from Brewfather and send it to the G30. I would definitely prefer to use only one program - GF Community with inventory.

I also would like to have this functionnality.
At the moment, I use excel to manage my inventory but it would be much more convenient to have it included in the GF application

Any news on this, currenty managing via xls, and this is cumbersome. Automatic invenotry debits is really needed. Inventory then can be reviewed against online recipies.

Thank you for your feedback and support. Our team is small and currently juggling many competing priorities. We genuinely appreciate the importance of the inventory feature and would love to implement it. Unfortunately, we’re not able to do so at this moment. We hope to revisit this in the future.

Hi Rudi,
any chance that you allow any extensions to your app or website so then “community” developers could work on this. Of course this would need to be prepared on your side, but I’m sure there are developers amongst the community (like myself) who could build someting for all of us.
